Audrey’s Alice In Wonderland Styled Session Cake Smash – Roseville Cake Smash Photographer

I have been so overdue for posting this session! Sessions are hard for photographers to post on their blogs due to the fact that you have to watermark your images, usually one by one and then post them with clever tags to be able to get found through Google searches. I have found a better way! Introducing BLOGSTOMP – seriously a game changer. I upload my photos I need to watermark, I put them in cute little collages of one or more photos, and it watermarks and compresses my files down in a matter of seconds – instead of uploading images one by one and taking FOREVER in Photoshop.

Now, I am not saying that I will be posting a session a day, or even a session on my website, per week. However, I will be able to post a lot more efficiently and possibly get on here to post much more often.

So, this session came to me from a mom who wanted a vintage Alice in Wonderland theme for her daughter’s first birthday. I LOVE doing styled sessions, and this one was one that I couldn’t wait to put together. First, I went on Pinterest to find ideas (go figure) and then with the $100 of the styled session budget that the client has included in the session fee, I purchased florals from Auburn Blooms (seriously my favorite florist), cake from Amy Lynn’s Cakes and then went to Amazon to find some other items.

I found some really cute vintage playing cards and keys, and borrowed some key elements from Megan at It’s All in the Details – my savior for anything vintage and ideas on how to style. Old frames and tea cups strung up in the trees with key details on the table tops. Beautiful rose arrangements in tea cups and a beautiful silver tea set with platter. The terrariums made beautiful accent pieces, filled with moss and some vintage Alice in Wonderland playing cards. I borrowed some old books, and had Amy do some funfetti cupcakes with “eat me” toppers. I made a little “drink me” potion bottle and filled with water and food coloring.

Audrey’s mom brought the vintage highchair and “ONE” banner and couldn’t have chosen outfit choices for her. I think that the whole session came out super beautiful, and all fit together very well.

Here are some images from Audrey’s cake smash session.
