Back to It! Lots of Changes and Personal Updates

So last year was crazy right? Right!

Well, the truth is, the last few years have been crazy for me, personally. Let me explain. I went through a divorce in 2019 which finalized in 2020, moved twice, said goodbye to Bailey-my pup of 14 years , sold my house,  split custody with my ex-husband,  and from July 2019 to October 2020, I was attending beauty school to become a cosmetologist.  WHEW!! Crazy right? RIGHT!

It has been a whirlwind, but definitely for the better. I have slowly been opening sessions back up and actually working my business, while for the last 2 years, I was literally only taking clients that requested sessions, and kind of let life dictate my trajectory. Well, I am happy to say that I am BACK! I am working on a refresh of my business, my pricing is changing, but I want to give a GREAT BIG THANKS to all of you that bared with me these past few years while I wasn’t doing too much.

I have moved, I have a new relationship that is good for my mental, physical and spiritual health, have my son Wesley every other week, and am starting to get back in the groove of being re-centered and re-inspired.  I have gotten very in tune with my spirituality and it has helped me understand the things that didn’t make so much sense prior. Things are definitely falling into place in my life, after feeling like I would never get it together mentally, financially and spiritually again. I leaned into the struggle, took a few road trips, some on my own, and some with friends, had a million heart-to-heart therapy sessions with my closest friends (you know who you are!) and let myself work through the pain, struggle and strife. I have learned so much from all the lessons and I am ready to get back on the horse of my business that I love so much. I love that photography makes me feel so close to the families that I have had the pleasure of shooting over the years and I am ready to get back out there!

I absolutely love it where I moved in Cameron Park, with my sweet & sexy boyfriend Dwain, and am looking forward to doing more sessions up in El Dorado county, and some really cool fantasy mini-sessions this fall.

Here are some photos of what I’ve been doing these past few months, and over the last 2 years. I love to share this with the people that have followed me for so long, always coming back to me for their photography needs! If it wasn’t for you, I probably would’ve given up doing it. It was all of you that kept me busy and doing business just enough to remind me of what an impact photography has on people’s lives.

Thank you!!

God, bless the broken road!
