Rita called me off an ad I had posted on Craigslist, and she was looking for a photographer for her Valentine’s wedding day to Joe.
Rita and Joe met at Rollingwood Raquet club in Orangevale, as they are both tennis instructors. They got married at the courthouse in Fair Oaks, and wanted portraits afterwards. We made our way to Old Folsom, to take in the awesome landscape surrounding it, for a little artistic portrait session. I love Pinterest, and told her to find some photos that she loved, and we could get some ideas for her portraits from that.
Once we got to Folsom, inspiration came instantly. Taking in the old historic architecture, and the beautiful colors and fun shops around there, we were well on our way with great ideas for pictures. They were a super fun couple with warm and friendly personalities. Easy going people are so much fun, and so easy to work with. I especially loved how in love they were, and their sense of humor with each other and with myself.
