Heather’s Maternity Session – Nevada City Maternity Photographer

I LOVE when clients choose their photo location, especially when it means something significant to them. For Heather, she wanted to go to a place that was important to her because it was a place where her and Joe spent a lot of time hiking and swimming, and it was also the first place that she sensed she was pregnant. For any of you women out there that have had a child, you know how pivotal this moment can be. I also like doing sessions that are at different locations because it gives me a challenge, and makes me push myself to be a better photographer. Only in locations that I am familiar with, can I predict the lighting, where the sun is going to set etc. We got lucky, this place was beautiful, had panoramic views of rocks, water and the beauty of nature. We finished off their session at their house by their maple tree, and their beautiful tree lined street. I got to meet their other 3 babies too – their dogs!  I am so happy that Heather and Joe trusted me for photographing this amazing time in their lives. Here are some photos from their session!
