This session was a ton of fun. I LOVE doing fashion shoots, I love the pretty settings, and how well thought out they are. I love how the beauty of the setting compliments the beauty of the model, and the props. OOOOooooh I LOVE props! All in all, this is the second session I have done with Tammy, and I love shooting her… she is so beautiful. Unfortunately, in the fashion industry, people flake, and don’t make their business their priorities… The hair and makeup person flaked. Tammy told me far in advance that she thought that might be the case, and I got my hair and makeup tools in order and I was prepared for if this was the case the next morning.
Tammy calls me at 9am the next morning… she had called the hair and makeup person, and she had disclosed that she had just woken up, and was in Antioch (an hour and a half away -she (who will remain nameless) was supposed to be there at 9:30)… so I went over there and I think it turned out well. I don’t love doing hair and makeup on other people, just because when it comes to doing someone else’s, I just feel like I don’t know what I am doing… I would rather leave it up to the professionals (the MUAH that she had been in touch with, was most DEFINITELY not), but I have to say, she looked pretty fabulous.
All in all, we got some pretty awesome images, if I do say so myself. Enough of my blabbering, here they are!
