I am so excited to post these photos!! This is one of my best-friend-in-the-whole-wide-world’s baby girl. Rochelle and I grew up riding horses together, doing 4H togoether, and keeping in contact from the time we were 8 years old. I won’t reveal how many year that makes us friend, but lets just say that its been allllllmost 3 decades. We’ll just leave that their.
This little baby is her mommy’s rainbow baby girl.
A rainbow baby is a child born after a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss. The term has encouraged parents to share their stories of loss – and the babies that followed.
Her mommy lost a few along the way and here is the little girl that made her mommy feel so complete, loved, enough, and worthy. And she is so much all those things, but I think it took her meeting this little girl to make her know it!
Her name is Charlotte, and she is perfection! We’ve waited a LONG time for you Charlie Girl, and the wait was SOOOO well worth it! Your auntie Tosha and so many others LOVE you!!
*****Please note – Some of these images are composite images, done compositing 2 or more images in Photoshop to look like one, for newborn safety!! The image shown with the dreamcatcher and in the hot air balloon (that I made myself – isn’t it adorable?) are composite images , the baby was not actually suspended in the air or left unattended in a hot air balloon without head support. Safety is my number 1 concern, and these images were achieved without putting the baby in danger.
