Wesley’s First Year – Being a Photographer’s Child

Happy (belated) birthday to my baby! On his birthday (April 9th), we had a big party of about 40 people at our house to celebrate! This little man has brought so much joy and love to our lives in this past year. I made sure that he had plenty of photos to remember his first year, and that he has some photos to embarrass him when his first girlfriend comes around about 20 years from now, yes, I said 20 years from now!! I love that this little guy is such a ham, he is so willing to be dressed up and be my baby model. These first years are so fleeting, and you can never get back the time, so I decided to not take one moment for granted, and photograph every moment I felt was necessary. I even ordered prints and canvases for the walls, and I recommend that clients do the same, because nothing is more useless than a bunch of photos that are stuck on a computer or on a zip drive.
